Mathematics Revision
Number, algebra, ratio, geometry, probability, and statistics.
Edexcel GCSE Maths revision is built around practice, and these lessons follow the Pearson Edexcel 1MA1 specification across both Foundation and Higher tier. The course covers the six areas examiners test, number, algebra, ratio and proportion, geometry and measures, probability and statistics, with each lesson focused on a single skill you can master and then apply.
Every lesson works through methods step by step with worked examples, so you can see exactly how marks are earned. Generate a quiz from any topic to practise under exam conditions, review the questions you get wrong with spaced flashcards, and ask the built-in tutor to re-explain a method or work through a similar question when you get stuck.

Frequently asked questions
There are three papers, each 1 hour 30 minutes and worth 80 marks. Paper 1 is non-calculator and Papers 2 and 3 are calculator papers, and together they make up the whole GCSE.
Foundation tier covers grades 1 to 5 and Higher tier covers grades 4 to 9. Choose Higher if you are confident aiming for grade 5 and above and comfortable with topics like surds, advanced algebra and trigonometry. Otherwise, Foundation can be the safer route to a secure grade.
Active practice beats re-reading. Work through questions, mark them honestly, then redo the ones you got wrong until the method is automatic. The lessons here pair each topic with quizzes so you revise by doing, not just reading.
Grade 4 is a standard pass and grade 5 is a strong pass. Foundation tier is capped at grade 5 and Higher goes up to grade 9, so pick the tier that gives you the best route to your target grade.
