1. Acceptance

These Terms & Conditions apply when you access or use Aicademy.

By creating an account, signing in, or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To use Aicademy, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live
  • Provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably up to date
  • Keep your login details secure
  • Be responsible for activity that happens through your account

You are responsible for choosing a strong password and for signing out or securing your device when needed.

3. What Aicademy Provides

Aicademy is a study and learning platform. It may include lesson generation, quizzes, flashcards, revision notes, tutor chat, progress tracking, sharing features, and accessibility or personalisation tools.

We may add, remove, pause, or change features as the product develops.

4. Your Content and Uploads

You keep ownership of the content you create or upload to Aicademy.

To operate the service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, back up, process, format, transmit, and display your content as needed to provide the features you use. This licence includes the right to let trusted service providers (for example hosting, storage, and infrastructure providers) carry out these functions on our behalf. We use it only to run, secure, support, and improve the service.

You are responsible for making sure that:

  • You have the right to upload, share, or publish the material
  • Your content does not infringe someone else's rights
  • You do not upload unlawful content or material you are not allowed to disclose

If you upload sensitive personal information, you do so at your own discretion. Please avoid uploading highly sensitive data unless it is genuinely necessary and lawful to do so.

5. Sharing and Community Features

Your content is private by default. Other people can only see it if you choose to share or publish it.

When you publish content or share it to the community, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to reproduce, display, distribute, and promote that content on and through the service — including on public pages that do not require an account — and you grant other users a limited right to view and learn from it within the service. This licence lasts for as long as the content stays shared, plus a short period afterwards so we can remove copies from active systems and backups.

Please be aware that when content is shared publicly:

  • Anyone can see it, including people who do not have an Aicademy account
  • It may be indexed, cached, or shown by search engines and other third-party services, which we do not control
  • Your profile information (such as your name and avatar) may appear alongside it, depending on your settings
  • Unpublishing or deleting content stops future display by us, but it may not remove copies that others have already viewed, saved, cached, or shared

Only share content that you are comfortable being public and that you have the right to make public. If you are under 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before sharing anything publicly.

We may review, moderate, refuse to display, or remove shared content at our discretion — for example, if we believe it breaks these terms, our community guidelines, or the law.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Aicademy to:

  • Break the law or violate someone else's privacy, copyright, or other rights
  • Upload harmful code, malware, or abusive, hateful, or fraudulent content
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with, probe, scrape, overload, or try to bypass the security or access controls of the service
  • Use the platform in a way that violates academic integrity, workplace rules, exam rules, or other obligations that apply to you

We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken.

7. AI Features and Limitations

Aicademy includes AI-generated assistance, including tutor replies and generated study material.

  • AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, or badly phrased
  • You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any AI-generated output
  • Do not rely on Aicademy for medical, legal, financial, safety critical, or other professional advice
  • You remain responsible for complying with any school, exam, research, or workplace rules that apply to your use of AI tools

8. Intellectual Property

Except for your content and third-party or open-source components, the Aicademy service, branding, and original site content are owned by Aicademy or its licensors.

These terms do not transfer ownership of the platform to you. They only let you use the service in line with these rules.

9. Pro Plans, Billing, and Cancellation

Aicademy may offer paid Pro plans with additional limits, features, or access. Prices, billing intervals, taxes, and included features are shown before checkout and may vary by plan.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically on the billing interval you choose unless cancelled before renewal. Payments and billing details are handled securely by Stripe. Aicademy does not store your full card details.

You can manage or cancel a paid Pro subscription from your account settings or through the Stripe billing portal. If you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period, unless we tell you otherwise or the law requires a different outcome.

If you switch between monthly and annual billing while your subscription is active, the change is scheduled for the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged immediately for that billing interval change.

Unless required by law or expressly stated otherwise, subscription fees already paid are non-refundable. Nothing in these terms affects any consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Suspension, Termination, and Availability

You may stop using Aicademy at any time.

We may suspend, limit, or terminate access if:

  • These terms are violated
  • We believe an account creates security, legal, or abuse risk
  • We need to protect the platform, other users, or ourselves

We also may interrupt, change, or discontinue parts of the service, including for maintenance, fixes, or product changes.

11. Disclaimers and Liability

Aicademy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

That means, to the fullest extent allowed by law:

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation
  • We do not guarantee that AI output or learning content will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific purpose
  • We do not guarantee any particular learning result, grade, exam score, or professional outcome
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from your use of the service

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Privacy

How we collect, use, and protect personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and may also provide additional notice inside the product or by email.

Continuing to use Aicademy after the updated terms take effect means you accept the revised version.
