Welcome to your first lesson 👋

This short lesson shows you how lessons work here — and how to use them to actually learn, not just read.

You’ll see examples of:

  • how slides are structured
  • how formatting helps thinking
  • how AI support fits into learning

Don’t worry about memorising anything yet.

This is just a guided start.

How lessons work here

Lessons are broken into slides on purpose.

Instead of one long wall of text, ideas are split into smaller pieces so you can:

  • Focus on one concept at a time
  • Come back to specific slides later
  • Edit and improve things as your understanding grows

You don’t “finish” a lesson once.

You come back to it.

Use formatting to think clearly

Formatting isn’t just for looks — it helps your brain organise ideas.

You can use:

  • Bold for key ideas
  • Italic for emphasis
  • Strikethrough when something is no longer relevant
  • Lists to break things down

You can also use inline code for technical terms or keywords.

This slide is editable. Try changing the formatting and see how it feels.

Meet Aica (your AI helper)

Aica is built into every lesson.

You can ask Aica to:

  • Explain a slide in simpler terms
  • Go deeper into a topic
  • Rewrite or improve content
  • Help you study or practise

Sometimes Aica will suggest edits when it thinks something could be clearer.

You always decide what stays — nothing changes without your approval.

Think of Aica as help on demand, not a replacement for learning.

Something not quite clicking?

Ask Aica to explain any part of this differently. Free, takes 30 seconds.

Learning is built from small habits

Learning doesn’t happen all at once.

It happens when you:

  • Come back regularly
  • Spend a short amount of time
  • Adjust how you study as you go

You don’t need perfect sessions.

You need repeatable ones.

function learn() {
  study()
  adjust()
  repeat()
}

What's next?

You’ve seen how a lesson works.

Now it’s your turn to:

  • Generate your own lesson
  • Explore different ways of learning here
  • Shape things around how you learn best

There’s more to discover as you go — tools, features, and different learning styles — but none of it matters unless you start.

More effort doesn’t beat the right approach.
